Brent Carers Centre
We provide support and information to carers in Brent who we define as someone who spends time each week looking after family members, friends or neighbours who are elderly, disabled or have a long-term health problem. In addition we run support groups, a book club, a project for former carers and have a specific Young Carers project. We have a specialised worker for carers of people with a mental health issue, who offers individual case work, support groups, training and consultation sessions.
