African and Caribbean Resource Centre
The Resource Centre provides community based mental health care and support to the African Caribbean community. The African Users Group works to meet the needs of African Caribbean people with mental ill health. It arranges drop-in sessions and runs a skill development group aimed at developing basic numeracy and literacy skills. Current services include the following: advice and advocacy, welfare rights advice, group work, working in partnership with agencies, computer training, office skills, development programme, music class, woodwork, cake decorating, sewing, internet and arts.
