Black Women's Mental Health Project
The servcie is for black women who have experienced mental illness and emotional distress. The service provides space, confidentiality and ongoing support and encouragement towards helping women regain their sense of well-being. The service is working towards being culturally respectful to the needs of all women who contact them. Non English speaking languages will be catered for on request. Other services include, support, advice and information hospital and home visits, local newsletters and referrals for counselling.
