Brent Homeless User Group (B.HUG)

We support homeless people into employment and training. This includes: 1:1 motivational support and support with creating CVs, completing job applications and with job search. Access to job opportunities, work and voluntary placements. Assistance with financial literacy in relation to benefit calculations and affordability of working. Access to training, volunteering and employment opportunitities with B.HUG's social enterprise, Community Insight. Free access to a varied programme of in-house training and all BACES accredited courses. Peer support. We operate as a user group as the majority of our management has personal experience of homelessness. We provide training, consultancy and research around user involvement and social inclusion.
