Yoga originated in India about 5,000 years ago. For many people, the word 'yoga' conjures images of half naked people sitting cross-legged going "ooohhhmmmmmmm", but there's a lot more to it!
Yoga can help you to relax and feel more grounded. It can help you resolve problems more creatively and increase your general sense of wellbeing. Also on the plus side - yoga can make you more toned and increase your flexibilty.
There are many different practices of yoga; some are energetic while others can be extremely relaxing and meditative. For more information on the different types of yoga available, click here.
The best way to learn yoga is by going to a class, there should be lots available in your local area. You could also try buying a book or researching postures on-line.
