exercise

Exercise is great for your physical and mental health. Scientists have shown that people who take regular physical activity are less likely to suffer from depression and anxiety, and are better able to cope with stress.

When you exercise, your brain releases chemicals called endorphins. These are sometimes called feel-good hormones and naturally lead to improved mood and feelings of wellbeing.

There are loads of exciting ways to be active. Try out something you haven't done before, like tennis, badminton, swimming, tai chi or dance classes - it's also a great way to meet new people and boost your self-esteem.
