healthy eating

There is growing evidence that what you eat can affect your mood. This is because changes in blood sugar levels and chemical levels in the blood directly influence how you feel. Eating healthily and taking care of yourself can do wonders for your physical and mental health. By reducing fatty and processed foods, and eating more fruit and vegetables and drinking plenty of water, your body will quickly show the benefits. You may lose some weight, your skin and hair may look and feel healthier, and you may experience an increased sense of wellbeing.

If you would like to eat more healthily but are not sure where to start, there is plenty of support out there for you. Check out the '5 a day' website for useful tips on how to get enough fruit and veg into your diet. For healthy recipes visit the Channel 4 website.
