talk to someone

Talking about your worries and fears can really help you to deal with a problem. Letting negative feelings and emotions build-up can have a negative impact on your physical and mental health.

Try talking to someone you trust, like a close friend or family member. If you are not comfortable talking to someone you know, there are loads organisations that are always there to listen (see the list below).

If you are struggling to cope it can help to talk to a professional. You can start by visiting your GP for advice. There are various different talking therapies out there, including counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
