The re-launch of Growing in Mind

Brent Mind and Ecominds' (Lottery funded) project 'Growing in Mind' was re-launched with a picnic celebration on the 9th August in our allotment based in Lyons Park, Wembley. The event overlapped with the borough of Brent installing a solid disable access toilet on site. This will be a big relief for all those tending their plots. The picnic was a great success with many regulars and guests attending to celebrate with us.
In the next week or so we will be passing the fifty mark for volunteers who have either offered their services on site or prepared seedlings for planting out through our 'Home Grown' project.
