Become a Volunteer Counsellor
If you are interested in obtaining a counselling placement at Brent Mind, you will need to have an appropriate level of experience and training. You must be in at least year two of studying counselling, have enhanced CRB clearance and be prepared to attend weekly supervision sessions.
Suitable counsellors will be offered an interview, followed by an induction meeting. All counsellors must make a commitment of two years and will be provided with regular clinical supervision.
As a volunteer counsellor you will receive support, training and supervision. In return you will be expected to see three clients a week over two years.
If you are a qualified counsellor or a counsellor at least in your second year of training with relevant experience and are enrolled on a Diploma Level Course, we would be pleased to hear from you.
