Mind Map

Mind Map is a young people's project that raises awareness and promotes positive attitudes towards mental health. We work with various other organisations to ensure that young people have access to all the information and support they need to maintain their physical and mental wellbeing.

Mind Map works with young peopleInteractive Workshops

Mind Map runs workshops in schools and various youth settings in the local area. Workshops include ‘An Introduction to Mental Health', ‘Drugs & Mental Health', ‘Depression, Suicide & Self-harm' and ‘Anxiety & Stress'.

Each workshop is designed to get young people thinking about mental health from different perspectives; challenging any preconceptions they may already have. Workshops are kept energised with quizzes, role plays and group work.

Peer Education Programme

Mind Map runs a Peer Education Programme. Young people are trained to deliver workshops and provide information and support to young people who are experiencing distress.Vinvolved Logo

Peer Educators develop valuable skills and confidence, along with an in-depth understanding of issues surrounding mental health. They also help design workshops and have a say in how Mind map is run.
