We believe everyone has something to give. Volunteering with Brent Mind provides a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, inform service delivery and become part of your local mental health charity.
Brent Mind is committed to working with volunteers and we have the infrastructure in place to support and guide them in their roles. We currently work with a strong team of volunteers, without whom many of our services could not operate.

Who can be a volunteer?
We welcome volunteers of all ages from all backgrounds particularly those who are interested in mental health services. We provide supervision and support to all volunteers and strive to provide additional support to those who feel they would benefit.
How can you give your time?
Brent Mind works with volunteers across a number of our services and projects. Opportunities range from one to one work with those affected by mental health issues to delivering mental health awareness workshops to young people. Current opportunities are listed below, along with a role description so you can find out more about whether or not the role suits your interests and matches your strengths and experience. The website is updated regularly, so if you can't find an opportunity you are interested in, it's worth checking the site again at a later date.

We also require applicants to complete a Criminal Record Disclosure form. Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar anyone from volunteering with us.
This will depend on the nature of the position, the circumstances and the background of their offence. Please fill in the form using the link below and return it with your completed application form.

We aim to respond to all applicants within two working weeks. If your application is successful at this stage you will be invited into the office for an informal discussion where you will have the opportunity to find out more about the role and the work of Brent Mind. Taking your application to the next stage involves attending a training course for most of our opportunities.
