Volunteer involvement in Brent Mind is a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and become part of your local mental health charity.
Brent Mind invests in their volunteers and is rewarded by committed people, without whom many services could not operate.
Brent Mind has achieved the "Investing in Volunteers" accreditation. We have proved our commitment to volunteers and have the infrastructure in place to support and guide them in their volunteering roles.

Who can be a volunteer?
We welcome volunteers of all ages from all backgrounds particularly those who are interested in mental health services.
What will I be expected do?
There are many way you can volunteer for Brent Mind. We offer a range of services for our users. You can help out with different events and activities, provide entertainment or help us in administration.

If you are a qualified counsellor or a counsellor at least in your second year of training with relevant experience and are enrolled on a Diploma Level Course, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Volunteering Opportunities with Healthy Minds
The aim of the Healthy Minds project is to provide a wide variety of physical activities for people with mental health needs in Brent.
BUDDIES
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed members to provide peer support to fellow members who wish to attend activity sessions, and would benefit from additional encouragement and motivation from an experienced Healthy Minds member.
Currently we are looking for: Aquafit Buddies, Badminton Buddies, Football Buddies, Gym Buddies, Yoga/ Keep Fit/ Tai Chi Buddies and Welcome Buddies (click on the title to read the role description).
